Pantoneys Crown Adventure (Larger Group Tour)

Pantoneys Crown is a large isolated mesa in the middle of the spectacular Capertee Valley. The Capertee Valley is widely reknowned as the second-widest canyon in the world – though there are many other factors contributing to what we call the ‘biggest canyon’! If you haven’t heard or visited this protected Crown Land before, this may be your perfect chance to make the trip down while also gearing yourself up for a tough but rewarding hike!

Grade:
Moderate - High Fitness (4/5)
High Technical Difficulty (4/5)

A moderate - high level of fitness is required for this hike as a 450m ascent is involved with tough inclines and scrambles in some instances. There are no obvious trails on offer to the summit and multiple challenges will be faced. Although the climb itself is not the most physically demanding there is a high degree of technical ability required for the day along with a fair bit of sustained walking to and from the base of the mesa. Total Distance covered will also be 15km +
