Your Safety and Well-being is very important to Hikeandseek. All care will be taken to provide the utmost care and provide first aid and caution where necessary. Participants are encouraged to travel in a safe manner and not engage in activities that are outside their comfort zone or put themselves in harms way.

Hikeandseek runs tours following the industry standards of the Australian Adventure Activity Standards and the Good Practice Guide. These will be briefed prior to any tour and particpants will be made aware of what each tour will undertake.

SAFETY ON THE TOUR

Hikeandseek will provide the following safety protocols and equipment on Walks and Tours

-         Access to First Aid

-          Access to an PLB (Personal Locator Beacon) in the situation of an emergency.

-          Emergency Contact (a non-participant) will always be notified of trip itinerary

-          An Itinerary description and log for the day will be kept and alerted for each trip

-          Introduction and guide throughout the walk with background information of the area.

Patrons will be required to follow directions and use their own discretion at certain points in regards to their own safety. Hikeandseek asks that you

-         Alert Hikeandseek when you are experiencing difficulties on a walk

-         Report all injuries however minor

- Let at least one other contact know of your whereabouts before the particular tour day
