Join Hikeandseek on a unique experience climbing the spectacular Donkey Mountain - taking it a step further and spending a night in some of the nooks and crannies of the mountain. With the chance to see the setting and rising sun and and abundance of stars in good weather, don’t miss out this unique experience! Situated 2.5 hours drive northwest of Sydney, this overnight hike is a fun challenge involving a steep climb, scrambles and a bit of bush bashing to reach the summit. Once there, our base camp will be pitched and the mountain will be ventured with lighter daypacks as the expansive vista of the Wolgan Valley awaits!
The logistics of this tour are being finalized - The trip may be extended a day to include a further day of camping at nearby Newnes Campground and more adventuring around the Newnes Plateau/Wolgan Valley areas due to the Long Weekend.
